Kraken bought by court to reveal user information to internal revenue service for tax compliance By Cointelegraph

A federal court bought crypto exchange Kraken to turn over account and deal details to the Irs (INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE), which stated it required that details to see if any of the exchange’s users had actually underreported their taxes.

Based on the order released on Friday, June 30, Kraken is needed to offer information of users who participated in deals going beyond $20,000 within a fiscal year, including their names (genuine or pseudonyms), birthdates, taxpayer recognition numbers, addresses, contact number, e-mail addresses and numerous other files.
